An Outlaws greeting to all Shedrock fans! Here is the second ground breaking album aptly entitled Outlaws of England. This is a rebels view of English History that spans eight century. Starting with one of the most famous of all time Robin Hood. Legend has it he came to hide out in Cragg vale! The Album then progresses to the gun powder plot of the 1600's, following up with the Yorkshire Coiners of the 1760's and The Luddite heroes of around 1812. Moving on to the 20th century it then exposes the criminals in power and their broken treaty after world war 1. After that it tells of the life of a world war 2 hero turned hobo, who was on the run from the Inland Robbery. All these story's are Accurately based on real life people and incidents throughout history. Pen-ultimately a protest song about the lowest of the low our corrupt bankers and MPs. This is a protest song so politically correct that the national radio stations where frightened to play it.
The Album concludes with the Outlaws anthem. A medieval Monastery routed protest- not one for the Royalist the is England's Rebel Anthem. This song represents the masses that for almost a millennium have refused to recognise that any descendants of the Norman are entitled to our Throne. All those who will not stand for the national anthem can proudly stand for this one. This is not background music. You have to listen to the Lyrics. It is an educational journey led by the King of Shedrock. A truly original and skillful wordsmith. Here is a man who speaks from the heart of the working folk. A peoples poet and environmentalist from the wild hills of Olde England; A man who practices a different kind of respect- that of being patriotic to the land.
